@adminWe located Father Monti Home for Orphans and Needy Children, an Enugu orphanage home with children in the primary and secondary school grades.
To foster a reading culture among them, we reasoned that establishing a library in their house, where they spend most of their time, would be very beneficial.
The majority of the kids we interacted with didn’t seem to know much about career options —many of them didn’t even realize that there are a variety of occupations available depending on an individual’s interests.
On our project day, We seized the opportunity to speak to the children about passion, career choices, and active citizenship, After which we donated 100 books comprising of textbooks, kinds of literature, and novels to start up a library for them.
